Caring for The Historic Paramount Theatre is truly a matter
Of Paramount Importance and we need your support!

The next phase will be building our restricted fund to ensure the sustainability of the Historic Paramount Theatre. A restricted fund  was formed at the Paramount Theatre in 2001 and it has continued to grow over the past few years, but still is only a very small percentage of the total needed. Interest earnings of this fund are used to support operating expenses. The cost of running and maintaining this beautiful theatre greatly exceeds income from ticket sales. Completing the restoration is only the first part of having a viable theatre in downtown Austin. 

Once we attain the restricted fund goal, we look to expand the stage area, add dressing rooms, and a set building shop. We look to add main floor handicapped accessible bathrooms and handicapped access to the stage area. We also look to add a set building shop, dressing rooms and expand the stage.

The AACA is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. There are many ways to give. Read the following options and then fill out and mail the Donor Contribution Form.

Stocks and Investments

1. AACA is a 501 (c ) 3 non-profit organization.  Donated stocks and bonds  are not subject to capital gains tax AND you receive full current value credited against your present income.
This is a very effective strategy to reduce your taxes. 

2. Some supporters find that leaving a percentage of the remainder of their estate is preferable to designating a specific donation amount. 

3. Another appealing option is to record your wishes now and retain the power to make changes as your circumstances change.

Join the Wall of Fame

Contributors of $1,000 or more will have their name(s) added to our Wall of Fame in the Historic Paramount Theatre lobby. There are three donation levels ($1000, $5000, $10,000) and each is noted in a distinctive way.

Sponsor a Seat

Contributions of $500 enable a donor to have their name engraved on a brass plate on the armrest of the seat and also listed in the Seat Book on display in the Historic Paramount Theatre lobby.

Sponsor a Star

Contributions of $200 or more enable a donor to have thier name listed in the Star Book on display in the Historic Paramount Theatre lobby.

Sponsor costs for a specific restoration facet such as the back-stage addition, concession lobby, theatrical curtains, etc.
